Asian Hiking Team deign the very beautiful short trekking in Annapurna area. Many trekkers told us that Annapurna area trekking is disturbing by road, yes it is. But we have an optional route for the trekker who has short time but want to explore the Annapurna region.

Ghankdruk to Khopra Danda continues to Poon Hill trekking is the best option for those trekkers who are looking short, easy plus trekking includes the majestic view in Annapurna Mountains, diversity of Annapurna culture, flora and fauna. 9 days programs from Kathmandu to Kathmandu. 7 days trekking from Pokhara to Pokhara and 2 days we travel to Kathmandu.

Ghandruk is the one of the tourist hub in Annapurna region. There are seasonal road to reach Ghandruk within 3–4 hours’ drive from Pokhara. It is possible to walk from Nayapul to Ghandruk takes 5 hours. In our trekking we mention you to start trekking from Shauli Bazar it is 2 hours’ drive from Pokhara. The trekking 3 hours to reach Ghandruk village. Upon arrive in Ghandruk we explore the Gurung village, museum, monastery, Annapurna conservation office etc.

On the next day, we trek all the way to Tadapani. Tadapani meaning far from water. From Tadapani the very busy trek path to Ghorepani but Asian Hiking Team itinerary entire trek inside Khopra Danda. The accommodation in Ghandruk Khopra Danda Poon Hill trekking has guest house or hotel. During the trekking, it is possible Guest house/Lodge facilities. In the guest house / Lodge have running hot and cold water facilities. Private rooms are available in most guest house/ Lodge. Most bathrooms are shared. During a tea house trekking you will have breakfast and dinner in the guest house/ Lodge, lunch will be eaten at one of the trailside restaurants. Every Guest house serves the traditional Nepali meal Dal Bhat Tarkari (rice, curry and lentil soup). All Guest Houses of our routs have the variety of different food items, such as rice, vegetables, noodles, potatoes and soup. Many of them have western food on the menu. Soft drinks, snacks, wine and beer are available in most of the guest houses and trail side restaurants.

Day by day itinerary

Day 01: Travel to Pokhara by tourist bus, 200KM, 6 hours or 25 minutes flight, transfer to Hotel in Pokhara (BB).

Day 02: Drive to Nayapul and trek to Ghandruk (1950 m), 5 hours, overnight at hotel Annapurna Guest house or Gurung Cottage or similar (B/L/D).

Day 03: Trek to Tadapani (2680m), 3.30 hours, overnight at Himalayan Tourist Guest house or similar (B/L/D).

Day 04: Trekking to Bayeli (3432 m), 6-7 hours overnight at Community lodge (B/L/D).

Day 05: Trekking to Khopra (3,660 m), 6-7 hours, overnight at Community Lodge (B/L/D).

Day 06: Trekking to Swanta (2214), 4-5 hours, overnight at Community Lodge (B/L/D).

Day 07: Trek to Ghorepani (2850m), 4-6 hours, overnight at Hotel Hungry Eye or Annapurna view etc (B/L/D).

Day 08: Early morning hike to Poon Hill for sunrise view and return to hotel, breakfast and trek to Naya Pool 6 hours and drive to Pokhara, 1.30 hours, overnight at hotel (B/L/D).

Day 09: Pokhara to Kathmandu by tourist coach 200 km, 6–7 hours or option 25 minutes flight, transfer to hotel (BB).
