Brings Rain and Snowfall to Western Shifts East Nepal

There is a possibility of moderate snowfall/rain in some places in the high hilly and mountainous areas of the province, moderate rain in some places in the remaining areas of Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces, and light rain in the hilly areas of Koshi province and a few places in Madhesh province, and in one or two places in the Terai of Koshi province.

Currently, Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali provinces are completely cloudy; Bagmati and Sudurpaschim provinces are generally cloudy; and the rest of the provinces are partially cloudy. Light rain is occurring in some places in Lumbini and Karnali provinces, in a few places in Gandaki and Sudurpaschim provinces, and in one or two places in Bagmati province.

There is a possibility of moderate snowfall/rain in some places in the high hilly and mountainous areas of the province, moderate rain in some places in the remaining areas of Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces, light rain in the hilly areas of Koshi province and a few places in Madhesh province, and in one or two places in the Terai of Koshi province.

January 28, 2026; The high, hilly, and mountainous areas of the country will be completely cloudy, and the remaining hilly and Terai areas will be generally cloudy. There is a possibility of moderate snowfall/rain at some places in the high hilly and mountainous areas of the country. There is a possibility of moderate rainfall at some places in the remaining areas of Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces and light rainfall at a few places in the hilly areas of Koshi Province and Madhesh Province and one or two places in the Terai of Koshi Province.

January 29, 2026; There will be mist/fog at many places in the Terai area. There will be partial clouds in the high hilly and mountainous areas of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces, and the weather will remain mainly clear in the remaining areas. There is a possibility of light snowfall/rain at one or two places in the high hilly and mountainous areas of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces.

January 30, 2026; There will be mist/fog at some places in the Terai region. The high, hilly, and mountainous areas of Gandaki, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces will be generally cloudy, and the remaining areas will be partly cloudy. There is a possibility of light snowfall/rain at one or two places in the high hilly and mountainous areas of Gandaki and Karnali provinces.
