Yala Peak is one of Nepal’s easier trekking peaks, a fantastic beginner mountaineering trip. Yala peak climbing is one of the popular adventure trips in the Langtang region for a view of Langtang Himalaya range from the summit. Yala peak 5637m is an easier and non-technical trekking peak in Nepal lies in the north of Kathmandu valley. As the Climbing Yala peak is not difficult for climbing, prior climbing experience is not required, though previous outdoor experience and average level of fitness is recommended.

Yala peak climbing, trekking start from Syabrubesi 6/8 driving from Kathmandu and spend 3 days hiking up the beautiful Langtang valley to Kyanjin Gompa at 3800 m. Kyanjin Gompa is situated below Langtang Lirung (7246 m) and we spend one /two days acclimatizing by taking day-hikes in spectacular surroundings. We establish base camp on a meadow at 4800 m and climb Yala Peak the next day. The last 400 m is on ice, so we will be using crampons, ice axes and rope.
From the summit we can see Shishapangma (8046 m) and the fluted Gangchempo (6388 m), Langtang Lirung, Dorje Lakpa. After the summit of the Yala peak, it is possible either direct trek to Shyabru Besi or end trek in Chisapani Sundarijal via Gosainkunda pass trekking. The itinerary here describes a trek that starts from Syabru Besi and ends in Syabru Besi.
