Dhaulagiri is the 7th highest mountain in the world. Dhaulagiri circuit trekking was first discovered in the 1950 by a French expedition team that climbed Annapurna I, and provides stunning views of the whole Dhaulagiri range. Dhaulagiri's round is chiefly attractive to people drawn to a high mountains and wilderness, and requires an excellent physical condition and basic mountaineering skills.
Dhaulagiri trekking begins from Beni Bazar however the road race to Dharapani. Trekking into Italian Base Camp, there is a basic tea house with a beautiful Mountain View and terrace. After Italian Base Camp, trekking through the glacier and snow slopes. The final challenge over the French pass (5,355 m), also the highest point of the trek, it is not too long an ascent but can be demanding. Descending from French pass, we enter the lonely but fascinating area known as Hidden Valley, this place is one of the few true wilderness areas accessible in Nepal, and the Hidden Valley stretches away to the north, eventually narrowing to a rugged gorge which connects to Upper Dolpo and Upper Mustang. The trek ends in Marpha then returns to Pokhara either flight from Jomsom or drive to Beni Pokhara or continues trekking to Nayapul.
We need to organize a full board of camping with necessary guides, cooks, Sherpa and porters for the Dhaulagiri circuit trek. Our staff carry all the necessary goods and prepare healthy meals during the trek, the accommodation in tented camping. If you are an individual or small group, Asian Hiking Team organize alpine style. We will trek to the Italian base camp and from Marpha to Pokhara by tea house. Between the Italian base camps to Marpha we provide basic camping. We will bring tents and high food for the upper part of the trek.
Day by day itinerary
Day 01: Early morning drive to Pokhara (900 m) by tourist bus, 6 hours, 200KM or flight 25 minutes, overnight at Hotel (B/L).
Day 02: Pokhara to Beni to Dharapani (1500 m), driving by Bus/ Jeep, 6 -7 hours, overnight Camp/Tea house (B/L/D).
Day 03: Dharapani to Muri (1815 m), 5 hours, Overnight Camp/Tea house (B/L/D).
Day 04: Muri to Boghara (2050 m)4/5 hours, overnight Camp/Tea house (B/L/D).
Day 05: Boghara to Dhoban (2630 m), 5/6 hours, overnight Camp/ Tea house (B/L/D).
Day 06: Trek from Dobang to Upper Vungini or Italian Base Camp (3660 m), 5 hours, stayovernight Camp/ Tea house (B/L/D).
Day 07: Acclimatization day in Italian base camp (B/L/D).
Day 08: Trek from Italian Base Camp to Glacier Camp, 4 hours, stay in Camp (B/L/D).
Day 09: Trek from Glacier Camp to Dhaulagiri Base Camp (4740 m), 5 hours, overnight Camp (B/L/D).
Day 10: Acclimatization rest day in Dhaulagiri Base Camp, overnight Camp (B/L/D).
Day 11: Trek from Dhaulagiri Base Camp to French Col (5010 m), 5 hours, overnight Camp.
Day 12: Trek from French Col to Alubari (3680 m.), 5/6 hours, overnight Camp (B/L/D).
Day 13: Trek from Alubari to Marpha 2640m, 5 hours, overnight Lodge (B/L/D).
Day 14: Marpha to Tatopani (1190m) drive by Jeep 5/6 hours, overnight Hotel/Lodge (B/L/D).
Day 15: Tatopani to Beni / pokhara, 6/7 hours, overnight in Pokhara (B/L).
Day 16: Pokhara to Kathmandu by tourist bus, 6 hours or flight 25 minutes, overnight Hotel (B/L).
Note: Itinerary subject to change. It is possible to combine to climb Dhampus peak. It is also possible trek start from Beni or continues trek from Marpha.
Cost and payment details
The cost is depending on group size, affected due to the requirement of number of guides and porters, requisite of Hotel in Kathmandu, method of land/air transport. The itinerary is changeable and modifiable as per needs and time frame of trekkers. Cost will be re calculated if the itinerary is changed or modified. - All land transportation by Tourist Coach, (Trekking pick up & drop).

Terms and Conditions:
Payment should be made 25 % of total amount in advance. Full amount must be paid before your trip starts.
Cancellation should be made 48 hours before departure and 25% cancellation charge is applicable beside Tax, transportation, permits and others fixed expensive.
In case of incomplete Trekking / Tour / Rafting / Climbing / Expedition / Jungles safari / or others days due to the client own problem, the amount of money paid not refundable.
If clients want to go Trekking / Tour / Rafting / Climbing / Expedition / Jungles safari / or others tours more than itinerary, they can pay after back from tour with per day basic but should be permission with Tour guide / Leader.
