Day 01: Kathmandu flight to Lukla 2840 m 30 minutes flight, Trek to Phakding (2640 m), 3.30 hours, Overnight Lodge/Hotel.
Day 02: Trek to Namche Bazaar (3440 m) 5.30 hours, Overnight Lodge/Hotel.
Day 03: Acclimatization day in Namche Bazaar.
Day 04: Trek to Tengboche (3768 m), 5 hours, Overnight Lodge/Hotel.
Day 05: Trek to Dingboche (4410 m) 5 hours Overnight Lodge/Hotel.
Day 06: Acclimatization rest in Dingboche.
Day 07: Trek to Chhukum (4730 m) 3.30 hours to Chhukum Ri 5550 m 3/4 hours Overnight Lodge.
Day 08: Kongmala pass (5535 m) and trek to Lobuche (4900 m) 9 hours Overnight Lodge/Hotel.
Day 09: Trek to Gorep-shep 3 hours continues to EBC (5370 m) 2/3 hours return to Gorep-shep, Overnight Lodge.
Day 10: Gorakshep climb to Kalapathar (5545 m) on the way return Pongboche, 7 hours, Overnight Lodge/Hotel.
Day 11: Pangboche to Khumjung 6 hours, Overnight Lodge/Hotel.
Day 12: Khumjung to Phakding 4 hours, Overnight Lodge/Hotel.
Day 13: Phakding to Lukla 3 hours, Overnight Lodge/Hotel.
Day 14: Lukla to Kathmandu, Overnight Hotel.
Cost and payment details
The cost is depending on group size, affected due to the requirement of number of guides and porters, requisite of Hotel in Kathmandu, method of land/air transport. The itinerary is changeable and modifiable as per needs and time frame of trekkers. Cost will be re calculated if the itinerary is changed or modified. Notes: Payment should be made 25 % of total amount in advance. Full amount must be paid before your trip starts.
Cancellation should be made 48 hours before departure and 25% cancellation charge is applicable beside Tax, transportation, permits and others fixed expensive. In case of incomplete Trekking / Tour / Rafting / Climbing / Expedition / Jungles safari / or others days due to the client own problem, the amount of money paid not refundable. If clients want to go Trekking / Tour / Rafting / Climbing / Expedition / Jungles safari / or others tours more than itinerary, they can pay after back from tour with per day basic but should be permission with Tour guide / Leader.
Day 01: Phakding (2640 m) - flight to Lukla (2840m) and 3/4 hours trekking to Phakding (B/L/D).
Early morning flight from Tribhuvan International Airport (Domestic) Kathmandu to Tenzing Hillary Airport, Lukla. Upon arrival at the airport, your guide will brief you of the day trek, as well as introduce you to your porters/Sherpas. While your Sherpas sort out and load your trekking equipment, you have time to explore Lukla. After finishing breakfast, proceed from Lukla to Khumbu, head north, past a Chorten with praying wheels and join the main tail at Choplung (2696 m) in less than one hour. They proceed from their head north crossing the Thado Khola (2554 m) with the awesome trekking peak Kusum Khanguru (6483m) at its head. To reach Phakding (2640 m), 2.15 hours from Chuplung or almost 3.30 hours from Lukla, overnight at Hotel.
Day 02: Namche (3540m) - 5 hours trekking to Namche Bazar (B/L/D).
To cross the west bank (right) of the Dudh koshi river, continue through blue pine and rhododendron forests, pass a settlement of metalworker (Tok), village of Banker (2905 m) with a small lodge, see view of Mt. Thamserku (6856 m) 1 hour. In the short while cross to the east (left) bank and climb up through Chumowa, cross the Khansar Khola to reach Mondzo (2835 m). Enter Sagarmatha national park here, check your permit. Descend in a cleft to the west (right) bank of Dudh Kosi on a suspension bridge to reach Jorsule (2774 m) 30 minutes. This is the last village before Namche Bazar. We take lunch here & proceed to cross Dudh Kosi (Bhote Kosi) again to the left side & again to cross the main Dudh Kosi, climb up till to Namche Bazaar (3440 m), proceed in pine forest. Can see, first view of Mt. Everest between Lhotse & Nuptse reach 2 and half hours from Jorsule, overnight at Hotel.
Day 03: Namche Bazaar - Rest day for Acclimatization (B/L/D).
Today is a rest day, however, we should do some activities such as to climb Syangboche airport, visit Sherpa home in khumjung/Khunde village includes Adman Hillary school or view from Everest view Hotel, 2 hours. Namche bazaar has many officials or offices, including army base camp and bank. Namche used to be a trading centre, where grain from the south was exchanged for salt from Tibet, and it remains now a trading center. Every Saturday is market day. It is the headquarters of Sagarmatha National park (SNP) & Sagarmatha pollution controlled Project (SPCP). Here is the Sherpa Museum & monasteries too, overnight at the hotel.
Day 04: Tengboche (3767 m) - 4.30 hours trekking. (B/L/D).
The tail rises to the east of Sagarmatha National Park Museum (3520 m), instead, contour high above the Dudh Kosi passes Kyangsuma. Steeply down to reach Phorse Tanga, may we have lunch; this is the last sport before Tenboche. After a hot lunch climb 2.20 hours to reach Tengboche (3767 m, after your arrival check the hotel and visit the monastery. Every day 3-4 PM and 6-7 am is worship time in the Monastery. Overnight at Guest house.
Day 05: Dingboche (4410 m) – 5-6 hours trekking (B/L/D).
Today, we start early, around 7 to 8 o’clock. Half an hour down to Debuche, where there is a monastery and small settlements inside the alpine forest. After a 45 minutes’ walk to cross the bridge, continue climbing to reach lower Pangboche. The trekking routes follow the lower path of Pangboche. It is worth to visit Monastery if you have time, it takes 45 minutes extra. An hour walk to reach a small settlement called Somare, may have lunch in Somare then gradually walk up. After one hour's walk from Somare, there are two ways, one heading to Pheriche and the other is Dingboche. Right hand side direction is way to Dingboche 4410 m, 1 hour from the junction. After arrival, have a short drink with rest and climb 200 meters over the Nagarjun hill because every day we “ascent high and sleep in low”. Overnight guest house/Lodge.
Day 06: Today is rest day/explore around and rest, Overnight Lodge (B/L/D).
Today is rest day, we can visit the Monastery over the Nagarjun hill. It takes 3-4 hours to see the view of Mt. Makalu which is above 8000 m High. Or you can go to the opposite side of Dingboche where you can see the beautiful ice lake and view of Ama Dablam. Rest and relax, overnight in the Hotel.
Day 07: Trek to Chhukum (4730 m), 3.30 hours after lunch climb to Chhukum Ri 5550m (3/4 hours), Overnight Lodge (B/L/D).
Today, the short trek to reach Chhukum (4730 m) took 3.30 hours. But you will recommend our clients to climb Chhukum Ri which is 5550 m high. The trail follows the Imja Tse (Island Peak) gorge, gradually climbing to Chhukum. Chhukum has few hotels and guest houses for tourists. After lunch cross the tributaries and start steeply climb to Chhukum Ri 5550 m (3/4 hrs) which is first highest climbing in three passes trekking, return to hotel 2 hours overnight at Lodge in Chhukum.
Day 08: Kongmala pass (5535m) and trek to Lobuje (4900 m) 9 hours, Overnight Lodge (B/L/D).
Early morning starts to climb Kongma La pass (5535 m) and trek to Lobuje (4900 m) 9 hours. We start at 4/5 am from hot breakfast, first an hour of a small trekking trail over the hillside. We caught the trail from Dingboche over the 4800 m. After that we gradually and steeply climb up to reach the flat area where you can see the Heli ground and the eye charting Lake. You are carrying many mountains. If you turn back you can see the Island Peak, Makalu, Baruntse, Ama Dablam etc. The last 15-20 minutes are a very difficult climb to reach the summit of Kongma La pass. Be careful when going up because if you sleep you will be in blue Lake. After passing, the trail all the way steeply down to catch the Khumbu glacier. Cross the Khumbu glacier which is very carefully walking coz moving rock and if the weather is bad or snow difficult to find the path, reach Lobuje 4910 m 3-4 hours from top. We had a late lunch in Lobuje. Overnight at Lodge.
Day 09: Trek to Gorep-shep 3 hours after Lunch continues trek to EBC (5370m), 2/3 hours and back to Gorep-shep (5170 m), Overnight Lodge.
Early in the morning leaving Lobuje, after lunch in Gorak-shep within 3 hours we will head up to Everest Base camp (5365 meters), and return to Gorak-shep at elevation of 5170 meters at noon for overnight stay. We walk over the moving stone with a jump so it does hard, be careful to walk. Crossing the Italian high altitude research centre, it continues to follow the bottom of the hill. Climb half an hour and the trail over the glacier so up and down to Gorep-shep 5170 m, check the hotel, have lunch and start walking to base camp. The trail to base camp is over the glacier, moving rock, if you are trekking in winter it is hard to find the path. Everest's new base camp is 45 minutes before the old base camp. The old base Camp was over the Khumbu icefall so all trekkers reach the new base camp and return. It is also noticeable that from base camp you could not see the Everest view. Overnight in Gorep-shep at lodge/guest house.
Day 10: Trek to Kalapattar (5545 meters) then trek down to Pongboche (3960 meter) 6 hours, overnight guest house, hotel (B/L/D).
After reaching Base camp of Everest, our aim today is to trek Kalapattar (5545 meter). We start early morning before sunrise to reach the viewpoint that offers some of the best views of Mount Everest as well as other panoramas of the surrounding mountains. Kalapattar means “Black rock”, the most excellent view point in the world. After late breakfast, descend to Pangboche through Pheriche at an elevation of 3960 meter 6 hours, Overnight at Guest house.
Day 11: Trek to Khumjung 3830 m, 5 hours, overnight guest house, hotel (B/L/D).
Today, we follow the mountain side and not come to lower Pangboche, within 2 hours bring you in Photos. Half an hour walk down to Phortse Tenga the way to Gokyo valley and steeply climb to reach the best view point. Continue walking to Khumjung valley. Overnight O/N Lodge, 6 hours trekking on elevation of 3780 meters. Visit the Adman Hillary School and monastery in the evening.
Day 12: Trek to Phakding 2640 m 5.30 hours, overnight guest house, hotel (B/L/D).
After breakfast trekking to the Namche Bazaar after that we return the same way to Phakding 5.30 hours, overnight guest house.
Day 13: Trek to Lukla 2840 m 4 hours, overnight guest house, hotel (B/L/D).
Finally, we return to Lukla where the trek began, which seems like a lifetime ago. Enjoying time rest of trip, Overnight at Guest house with cold & hot drinks.
Day 14: Fly to Kathmandu, overnight guest house, hotel (BB).
Early morning breakfast and go to Lukla airport before one hour of your flight time. The time may change, and the flight depends on weather, so your guide determines the time. 35 minutes flight from Lukla, transfer to hotel in Kathmandu, rest and relax. In the evening join a well dinner with Nepali culture programs, overnight in Kathmandu at a hotel.
