Day by Day Itinerary
Day 01 - Arrive in Kathmandu (1,300 meters), transfer to Hotel (BB).
Day 02 - Final Preparation day in Kathmandu, overnight Hotel (BB).
Day 03 - Fly to Lukla (2840 meters), same day trek to Chutanga (3474 meters), overnight Lodge (B/L/D).
Day 04 - Trek across the Zetra La pass (4600 meters/15,100 feet), to the village of Chatra La (4200 meters), overnight Lodge (B/L/D).
Day 05 - Trek to Kothey (Tashi Ongma) at 3500 meters, overnight Lodge (B/L/D).
Day 06 - Trek to Tangnag at 4300 meters, overnight Lodge (B/L/D).
Day 07 - Trek to Khare at 5000 meters/16,400 feet, overnight Lodge (B/L/D).
Day 08 - Rest day, acclimatization, explore the surrounding area, overnight Lodge (B/L/D).
Climbing Mera Peak:
Day 09 - Climb to High Camp, (5768 meters/18,978 feet), overnight Tented Camp (B/L/D).
Day 10 - Summit Mera Peak (6476 meters/21,246 feet), descend back to Mera Base Camp/high Camp, overnight camp (B/L/D).
Day 11 - High Camp to Hunku Khola (Khamabche or Kongma Dingma), 5 hours (4900 meters), overnight at the Camp (B/L/D) (B/L/D).
Day 12 - Trek to Seto Pokhari (5003 meters), overnight camp (B/L/D).
Day 13 - Trek to Baruntse Base Camp (5300 meters), overnight Camp (B/L/D).
Day 14 - Rest & Acclimatization, training, and organization at base camp, overnight at camp (B/L/D).
Climbing Baruntse 7129m:
Day 15 - Base Camp Climb to camp 1 (6120 meters/20,100 feet), overnight Camp (B/L/D).
Day 16 - Return to Base Camp, overnight Camp (B/L/D).
Day 17 - Rest day in Base camp, overnight Camp (B/L/D).
Day 18 - Rest day in Base camp, see the weather and decide to summit day, overnight Camp (B/L/D).
Day 19 - Extra day for summit attempt, return to base camp, resting (B/L/D).
Day 20 - Extra day for summit attempt, return to base camp, resting (B/L/D).
Day 21 - Climb to camp 1 at 6100 meters, overnight camp (B/L/D).
Day 22 - Climb to Camp 2 6400 m, overnight Camp (B/L/D).
Day 23 - Summit attempt (7129 meters/23,390 feet), return to camp 1 (B/L/D).
Day 24 - Extra day for summit attempt, return to base camp, resting (B/L/D).
Day 25 - Extra day for summit attempt, return to base camp, resting (B/L/D).
Day 26 - Pack and prepare to depart base camp (B/L/D).
Day 27 - Base Camp to Seto Pokhari, overnight Camp (B/L/D).
Day 28 - Seto Pokhari to Khare, overnight hotel (B/L/D).
Day 29 - Trek to Kothe, overnight Hotel (B/L/D).
Day 30 - Kothey to Chutanga, Overnight Hotel (B/L/D).
Day 31 - Chutanga to Lukla, overnight at hotel (B/L/D).
Day 32 - Flight to Kathmandu/Ramechhap, transfer to Hotel at Kathmandu (B/L).
Day 33 - Extra Day in Kathmandu in case of delay, and for sightseeing, gift shopping, celebration, saying goodbye to new friends, overnight Hotel (BB).
Day 34 - Departure from Nepal, drop to the airport as your own flight (B).
Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu (1340 m), transfer to Hotel, overnight Hotel (B).
Arrive in Kathmandu, meet our staff and transfer to a hotel in Kathmandu, join group meeting and tour briefing at hotel, check equipment, overnight in Kathmandu.
Day 02: Free day for preparation and official briefing, sightseeing in Kathmandu, check equipment (B/L/D).
Total is the free day in Kathmandu, we will collect the climbing permit and final preparation for trekking, check the equipment. If you are new to Nepal and want to tour with a city guide and tourist coach, please let us know. Kathmandu is the colorful of Nepal, a fascinating blend of rational architecture and symbols of the twentieth century. It’s artistic and cultural heritages are evident where ornately carried balconies mingle with beautiful shrines and temples. If you have time, we recommend that you check out Durbar square, home to the palace of Kumari Devi, considered to be a living goddess. It is also worth the climb to visit Swayambhunath the monkey temple. Explore the network of street Markets and allay Bazaars, and witness the burning Ghats at PashupatiNath. For those with a few extra days in Kathmandu, the neighboring towns of Patan and Bhaktapur are well worth a visit too., check the equipment, final preparation, overnight at hotel Kathmandu.
Day 03: Fly to Lukla, breakfast then trek to Chhutang (3450 m), overnight at lodge (B/L/D).
Early in the morning flight to Lukla. It takes around half an hour flight to reach Tenzing and Hillary airport, Lukla. Lukla is a small city in the lap of High Mountain. It is the commencement point of our trek. To meet Asian Hiking Team crews. After having breakfast, we start our trek to Chutang. The trail goes straight from Lukla climb one hour, then slightly ascends up to Chutanga 3 hours trekking. We have to walk through the pristine of Rhododendron (National flower of Nepal) and pine. It takes around 3/ 4 hours from Lukal to Chutang.
Note: in the season time, there are no direct flight to Lukla (air traffic in Kathmandu airport) so early morning drive to Ramechhap airport, 4 hours and flight to Lukla and continues trekking to Chhutanga.
Day 04: Chhutanga to Zatra La Pass (4600m) to Thuli Kharka, overnight at Lodge (B/L/D).
After breakfast, we continue a long day walk around 6-7 hours crossing the Kalo Himal Ridge that separates the Khumbu from the Hinku valley that led across this ridge is the Zatrwa La, traversing to the right and finally descending steeply to ThuliKharka (big pasture) where there are several basic lodges, overnight in Lodge.
Day 05: Thuli Kharka to Kothe (3680m), overnight at Lodge (B/L/D).
After breakfast, the trails bring you up and down the valley. We pass Chterwa, Tashing Ongma to reach Mosom Kharka. Today we have lunch in Tashing Ongma then gradually climb to Mosom Kharka, 4/6 hours, Overnight at Lodge.
Day 06: Kothe to Thangnag (4355m), overnight at Lodge (B/L/D).
The Trial goes slightly up through the bank of Inkhu Khola. On the way there is a nice view of Mt. Charpate and Mera La. On the way we can see a Buddhist Gomba in the lap of a big rock, it takes 4/5 hours trekking to Tangnag, overnight in Lodge.
Day 07: Thangnag to Khare Camp (5095m), overnight at Lodge (B/L/D).
Today the trail slightly goes up around half an hour up to Dig Kharka, which offers a breathtaking view of Mt. Charpate. The routes continue slightly up towards Khare Camp. There is a small Sherpa village which offers nice accommodation which is situated in sloppy land surface, overnight at Lodge.
Day 08: Khare Camp - Rest day for acclimatizing and pre-training, (B/L/D).
Today also rest day in your trekking so either you can visit the Mera peak base camp or you can save your energy for climbing, see how the condition then you can decide. Learn and practice how to use equipment and safety, overnight in Lodge/Hotel.
Day 09: Khare Camp to High Camp (5800m), tented camping (B/L/D).
After hot breakfast, start walking on the way to Mera Base Camp. We need to cross Mera Glacier, and then we have to walk straight on ice for around half an hour. On the way see the nice view of Mera peak. After descending around 100 m, we will be at Mera Base camp for 3 hours. From Base camp we have to climb up towards High camp. The way was covered with ice. On the way we can see a nice and spectacular view of Mt. Everest (8848m), Mt. Cho Oyu (8201 m), Mt. Lhotse (8414m), Mt. Kanchenjunga and many more. High Camp is situated in the base of big rock, where we can feel quite warm, which offers a nice view of sunshine and sunset, 2 hours from Base Camp, overnight at tented Camp.
Day 10: High Camp to Mera Peak Summit (6470m) return to High Camp or Base Camp, overnight Camp (B/L/D).
Today is the most valuable day. We wake up around 1-2 am, prepare all the climbing gear. After a hot breakfast, we start to climb up. Slowly and gradually we continue climbing. If the weather is favorable, we will be at Mera central summit around 4–6 hours. Anyone can easily forget the tired when they were at the summit. From the summit of Mera you can see the magnificent and breathtaking view of high mountain ranges like; Mt. Everest (8848 m) and Mt. Lhotse (8501 m), Mt Nuptse (7855m), Lobuche peak (6119 m) to the north, Mt. Choyu (8201 m) and Mt. Amadamlam (6818 m) to the west, Mt. Kanchenjunga (8586 m), Mt. Makalu (8463 m) to the east, and many others. After spending around half an hour at the summit, then we started to descend to High camp. Continue descending to Base camp, overnight Base Camp or High Camp if you are OK and desire it's possible to come to Khare too, overnight Camp.
Day 11: High Camp to Hunku Khola (Khamabche or Kongma Dingma), 5 hours (4900 meters), overnight at the Camp (B/L/D).
Day 12: Trek to Seto Pokhari (5003 meters) 5-6 hours, overnight camp (B/L/D).
Day 13: Trek to Baruntse Base Camp (5300 meters) 5-6 hours, overnight Camp (B/L/D).
Day 14: Rest & Acclimatization, training, and organization at base camp, overnight at camp (B/L/D).
Climbing Baruntse 7129m:
Day 15: Base Camp Climb to camp 1 (6120 meters/20,100 feet) 4-5 hours, overnight Camp (B/L/D).
Day 16: Return to Base Camp, overnight Camp (B/L/D).
Day 17: Rest day in Base camp, overnight Camp (B/L/D).
Day 18: Rest day in Base camp, see the weather and decide to summit day, overnight Camp (B/L/D).
Day 19: Extra day for summit attempt, return to base camp, resting (B/L/D).
Day 20: Extra day for summit attempt, return to base camp, resting (B/L/D).
Day 21: Climb to camp 1 at 6100 meters, overnight camp (B/L/D).
Day 22: Climb to Camp 2 6400 m, overnight Camp (B/L/D).
Day 23: Summit attempt (7129 meters/23,390 feet), return to camp 1 (B/L/D).
Day 24: Extra day for summit attempt, return to base camp, resting (B/L/D).
Day 25: Extra day for summit attempt, return to base camp, resting (B/L/D).
Day 26: Pack and prepare to depart base camp (B/L/D).
Day 27: Base Camp to Seto Pokhari, overnight Camp (B/L/D).
Day 28: Seto Pokhari to Khare, overnight hotel (B/L/D).
Trek all the way to Mera base camp continues to Khare as day 11 and 12.
Day 29: Trek to Kothe, overnight Hotel (B/L/D).
Returning trek as before.
Day 30: Kothey to Chutanga, Overnight Hotel (B/L/D).
Returning trek as before.
Day 31: Chutanga to Lukla, overnight at hotel (B/L/D).
Returning trek as before.
Day 32: Flight to Kathmandu/Ramechhap, transfer to Hotel at Kathmandu (B/L)
Early morning flight to Ramechhap or Kathmandu, transfer to hotel.
Day 33: Extra Day in Kathmandu in case of delay, and for sightseeing, gift shopping, celebration, saying goodbye to new friends, overnight Hotel (BB).
Free day, shopping and rest, or we can use any mishap of trip.
Day 34: Departure from Nepal, drop to the airport as your own flight (B).
